Behold, it was X-mas E.V.E.

Behold, it was X-mas E.V.E. & to celebrate 4 wise men and 8 fair Damsels arrived at Fox Studios…In a night that started with warmth and the glow of a beautiful sunset and ended with wonderful celebrations of another year gone. To be sure the atmosphere was authentic for Christmas a cool breeze blew in and fire had to be lit.

The food was great and the company even better…

Highlights included:
Menu was great and wine selection just perfect
People showing up on time for the ones that showed up (13 out of 26)
The number of times things came up via an SMS (for the absentee) more on that later
Have to explain to the restaurant owner that “…no really more people said they will be here…”

The wonder of the evening was the induction of Anthony into a Premier league and not to mention an open invitation for him to all E.V.E. events (if there ever is another one). But I guess you had to be there to share…

This brings me to the wonder of which political party was campaigning in Sydney last night? And more importantly why were they handing out Viagra? I can see you are puzzled… But, when you get the number of SMSs I received to advise me that people weren’t going to show because something “CAME UP”…It had me singing “I’m a believer!”

Just so I am not having a go at everyone…I understand the people that had work commitment and I appreciate the phone calls from all three “gentlemen”

For the ones that have not bothered to respond or sent me an email or SMS ONE hour before they werr meant to be there I have one thing to say…Yes means I will be there…not maybe if I could I would.

Finally, this was the last E.V.E. event.

Over and out from a very miffed Secretary.

Hany,
Thank you for organising the 2007 E.V.E. Christmas dinner. Even though many people didnt attend, I believe we had a great time regardless. I wouldnt call this the last ex-voda supper just because a few ppl didnt show. Looking forward to another catch up when you decide to organise another one.....
Cheers
