Let the Games Begin

it was a wonderfully sunny Wednesday afternoon in good old Sydney town...when 9 wonderful people decided to meet and have lunch at the "slip inn" where royalty meet glamour...Not sure if I fit in either of those categories but some of the company surely do...

There was food to be had and revelations to be made...I think I blushed once or maybe twice but you had to be there to witness...

The first lunch got on its way with Scotty in a shirt and tie (that had to be a first) and ended with Alan C stopping outside of St Patty's talking to a mate...

Nine made it to the lunch today but perhaps we should get more next time...

It is Christmas around the corner and seeing that most of those attending were not going to the Vodafone party this year...I might just try to organise one for the E.V.E. and maybe next time I'll be better prepared with a camera and a note pad...

Could it be possible that we can have more people who had once worked for VF AU than they do on the inside...

Well there is only one way to find out...Have as many people you know subscribe to this blog and lets see if we can organise a well earned drink somewhere for the Ex Voda Employees...

Sorry guys & girls, Paul & I were fighting for a free lunch at Alcatel, we managed to salvage a couple of tuna salads but I was not aware that is no such thing as a free lunch!

I have indigestion and it tasted like crap (excuse my french! I'm Mauritian!.

Hvaing said that, next time you have a free lunch let me know in advance so I can be first in line!...

Au revoirt!

Happy to hear all 9 were at this luncheon. Sadly I was the 10th that didn’t make it. I was locked in at a Qantas mtg for 2 ½ hours. Pathetic I know. But if Hany continues to be a team player, I might try and make the next one. Unfortunately luncheons are nearly impossible for me (actually any kind of break is a miracle). On another note, I’m not just ex-Vodafone but also an ex-Optus member too but happy to combine the Telco's :)

It was good to see some familiar faces again, some I thought were still on the inside :-)

It is not true that this is the first time that I have worn a shirt & tie, I have worn one to every court appearance so far.

Well look fwd to seeing people at the Forbes on 10th Nov.

God Bless ;-)
